Website analytics

We use PostHog, hosted in the United States, to measure public page visits, job views and clicks on Apply. Events include the public page path, job title and slug, and basic browser information. Like other online services, PostHog also receives the connection IP address when an event is sent. We do not send email addresses or account profiles to PostHog, record sessions, create heatmaps, or track private account pages. Analytics does not set persistent cookies or use browser storage, and it respects the browser Do Not Track setting. URL query strings and fragments are removed before events are sent.

Clicking Apply is recorded as opening an application link, not as a completed application or a hire. Ad blockers, browser settings and network failures can prevent analytics events, so these counts are estimates.

Job alerts

Alerts are optional. We store the email address and language and skill keywords you submit, your request and confirmation times, consent version, unsubscribe state, and delivery records. We use them to confirm consent, match jobs, send weekly alerts, prevent repeated job emails and respect your opt-out.

We do not automatically subscribe account holders, DM recipients or Substack subscribers. We do not import or copy their addresses into alerts. An unchecked consent box and a separate email confirmation are required.

We use Resend to send job alert emails. Resend receives your email address and the message content needed for delivery. Its published retention policy for Free, Pro and Scale plans is 30 days for email content and metadata, delivery status and events, logs and metrics. We do not sell the alerts list, infer your country, add tracking pixels, track email opens, or rewrite email links for click tracking.

Job alerts are active. After you confirm your email, we send at most one digest every seven days with up to 20 matching published, unexpired jobs. Your first digest is due seven days after confirmation. If there are no new matches, we send no digest. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Open it and press Unsubscribe to stop future sends without signing in. Emails already handed to the mail service may still arrive. A new subscription request after opting out requires fresh confirmation.

Unconfirmed requests are removed after 30 days by the maintenance runner, except unresolved deliveries held for investigation or records with earlier job delivery history. Confirmation codes expire after 24 hours; unsubscribe codes expire after 400 days. Only hashes of codes are stored. Addresses and codes are not written to application logs.

While active, we retain your preferences, consent and delivery history. After unsubscribe, we retain your subscription and delivery records to respect suppression and prevent repeat jobs if you opt in again. These records are retained until an operator erases them; they are not used to send further alerts. Expired codes are removed by the maintenance runner. The production runner is scheduled every 15 minutes and performs bounded maintenance on each run.
