Responsibilities
- Transcribe spoken Tamil accurately; proofread and edit for grammar, consistency and project rules.
- Annotate requested linguistic features, flag unclear audio and discrepancies, and clarify issues with coordinators.
- Meet agreed deadlines and adapt to changing transcription requirements.
Preferred
- Native or near-native Tamil including diverse dialects and accents; transcription/linguistic-annotation experience.
- Strong Tamil and English written/spoken communication; precision under time constraints.
- Transcription software and collaboration tools; independent time management and interest in language.
