Overview

Quality Analysts review data-related outputs to help keep project work accurate, consistent and reliable.

The engagement supports the company projects that train and improve AI systems using human expertise. You will collaborate with leading researchers and contribute within your area of expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Compare work with the specified quality standards, rubrics and guidelines.
  • Find errors, inconsistencies and gaps, and record them clearly.
  • Give contributors and stakeholders structured feedback they can act on.
  • Monitor quality metrics and report recurring problems or trends.
  • Help improve quality processes, checklists and evaluation criteria.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with teammates working across time zones.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, quality control or a similar role centered on reviewing work.
  • Close attention to detail and the ability to notice errors that others may miss.
  • Excellent writing and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Comfort handling ambiguity and changing standards in a fast-moving environment.
  • Reliable internet and a quiet workspace where you can focus.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with data annotation, content review or evaluation workflows.
  • Experience in distributed or remote teams.
  • A background relevant to the work, for example technical, editorial or analytical work.

Engagement and pay

  • Listed pay: $20-$50 per hour.
  • Hourly engagement as an independent contractor, fully remote and on your own schedule.
  • Projects may be extended, shortened or ended early based on project needs and performance.
  • The work will not require access to confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client or institution.
  • Payment is made weekly through Stripe or Wise for services rendered.
  • The provider describes compensation as competitive but states no further guarantee.
