Overview

Lead Health and Medicine projects from start to finish for AI lab customers. Turn customer needs into project specifications and domain-specific data pipelines, coordinating Operations and subject experts to deliver quickly with high quality.

Responsibilities

  • Own Health and Medicine projects from pipeline planning and scoping through execution and delivery.
  • Turn customer needs into practical specifications for Health and Medicine workflows.
  • Design and improve pipelines for usability, accuracy, quality and scale.
  • Coordinate Operations and Health and Medicine experts for fast deployment.
  • Set delivery milestones and maintain a close execution schedule.
  • Keep client communication clear, direct and consistent.
  • Manage Health and Medicine experts and project leads to maintain quality and delivery.
  • Give daily internal updates on progress, obstacles and concrete next steps.

Requirements

  • An MD or equivalent medical degree is required.
  • At least two years of professional work in medicine, healthcare, clinical practice, medical research or a related field.
  • Clear communication and strong stakeholder management when working with senior domain experts.
  • Ownership, urgency and close attention to detail.
  • A startup and entrepreneurial approach focused on execution.
  • At least two years leading complex projects, operational workflows or initiatives related to Health and Medicine.
  • Ability to turn unclear customer needs into clear plans and carry them out quickly.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, high-intensity working environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with AI/ML companies, AI labs or data annotation/evaluation projects.
  • Experience managing Health and Medicine projects, technical projects or data-intensive projects.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows, medical research, healthcare data or other complex health and medicine workflows.
  • Knowledge of data pipelines, AI training workflows and human-in-the-loop operations.

Engagement and pay

  • Full-time remote position.
  • The official JD states a national base salary range of USD 180,000 to USD 230,000 per year.
  • All employees are eligible for equity compensation. Performance bonuses may also be available depending on the role and company policies.
