Overview

A software engineer with hands-on full-stack experience and some DevOps exposure, building and operating applications that support critical engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications with React, TypeScript and Python.
  • Build and improve backend APIs and services for scalability and performance.
  • Work with engineers and stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
  • Take part in code reviews and help raise engineering standards.
  • Debug issues across frontend, backend and deployment environments.
  • Deploy and operate applications on cloud platforms.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.
  • Help improve observability, monitoring and reliability.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
  • Experience building web applications with modern frameworks such as React.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, system-design fundamentals and application architecture.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Preferred

  • Backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django.
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Docker, and familiarity with Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Distributed systems, asynchronous processing or event-driven architecture.
  • Observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Datadog or Splunk.
  • Using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor effectively.
  • Data pipelines, APIs or engineering workflows.
