Overview

Illustrators, sketchers, cartoonists, digital artists and concept artists are wanted to create high-quality artwork from reference images, adding creative variations while keeping each character’s identity.

Open to interns, freshers, emerging artists and experienced professionals with strong visual skills and a portfolio showing creativity, versatility and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Create digital character illustrations and sketches from provided reference images.
  • Produce creative variations while keeping character identity and visual consistency.
  • Apply the fundamentals of composition, colour, lighting, perspective and proportion.
  • Adapt artwork to different visual themes as the project requires.
  • Document creative decisions, style choices and simple prompt metadata.
  • Deliver polished artwork within the assigned timelines.

Requirements

  • Experience in illustration, sketching, cartooning, concept art or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showing creativity, versatility and attention to detail.
  • Experience with styles such as character design, stylised illustration, surreal, cinematic, vintage, retro, steampunk or glitch art.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, Affinity Suite or similar tools.
  • Able to work independently, manage revisions and meet timelines.

Engagement and pay
